We would like to congratulate one of our major contributors to the blog section, Mr. Joseph Vella Bondin, for winning the book prize in the category ‘Historical and Biographical Research’.

This prize is awarded annually by the National Book Council in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Employment. The prize was given for Mr. Joseph Vella Bondin’s landmark publication ‘The Great Maltese Composers : historical context, lives and works’. The book is available from all leading bookstores and it is a must have for all enthusiasts of Malta’s cultural history and heritage.

The City of Humanity team wishes Mr. Vella Bondin many more years of fruitful research and publication in the Maltese musical sphere.
